Shipping & Handling Process

  • Most orders are processed and shipped within 2 – 8 business days. Please allow 1.5 – 2.5 weeks for delivery of custom horizontal blind products.
  • Orders are shipped either UPS ground or US Postal Service USPS, with tracking. Color Samples are mailed USPS with no tracking.
  • Carriers may not deliver packages to apartments or condos within multi-unit buildings. Please ensure delivery acceptance details with a multi-unit building before ordering. Blind Slats is not responsible for boxes missing or stolen from common areas.
  • If the wrong shipping address is entered on the order, and the order is shipped to that address, we will not be able to process a refund, or be responsible for locating the order, or for extra shipping charges or transfers. Please understand we can not be responsible for these kinds of issues.
  • Orders are shipped with Signature Required at our discretion, but please let us know if you need it.

  • Tracking number and shipping details are always provided by the shipping carrier. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking number to be updated once shipped.
  • Please be advised that you may be contacted concerning production of our custom products if we have questions regarding measurements or order notes.
  • Shipping information including link to tracking will be emailed when order ships. Free samples excluded.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled after product has been cut, or due to shipping delays.
  • We ship to continental US only.
  • We DO NOT expedite production time or shipping.
  • We DO NOT Ship Internationally.

Shipping & Handling Rates

At Blind Slats, we offer straightforward, flat rate shipping & handling charges to ensure the best possible price for our custom made products. They are as follows:
  • All slat and valance orders 8″ to 48 15/16″ are $19.95 – any quantity.
  • All slat and valance orders 49″ to 92 15/16″ are $39.95 – any quantity.
  • All blind parts orders are $7.95 – any quantity. (Waived if ordered with horizontal slats or valances)

Damaged / Missing Products Upon Arrival

  •  When you receive your order, inspect each box carefully and note any immediately observed damage to the driver. If items are damaged do not sign anything without annotating damage, and do not discard boxes!
  •  If your products arrive damaged or in non-working condition, Contact us immediately, so we can get the product remade and re-shipped as soon as possible. Please take pictures of damage and send them to us HERE.
  • All damaged freight/shipping claims must be reported within 7 days of the original delivery date.
  • Missing products or packages must be reported within 14 days of shipping date.

Return / Replacement Policy

  • Please visit our Warranty page here for all warranty information.
  • If the product falls within the warranty period and was mis-made, is defective, or has shipping damage, we will replace or repair it at no charge, including shipping costs. We will determine, at our discretion, whether the product will be replaced or repaired.
  • Our website provides detailed, easy to follow instructions in an effort to assist our customers in ordering the correct products with the correct specifications, including measurements, materials, and options.  In addition, customer service is available to help with any questions before ordering.
  • All products are custom-made to your specifications of size, material, and options. None of our custom products are “off the shelf”, and are not suitable for resale. For this reason all orders are non returnable or refundable for a mistake when ordering.  If you make a mistake in measuring, options, or anything else, please contact us immediately. Depending on the type of error we may be able to re-make the order at a generous discount.

Free Vertical Headrail and Slat Shipping to Lower 48 States!

  • Most orders are shipped direct from the manufacturer usually within 8 – 15 business days. Please allow APPROXIMATELY 3 – 4 weeks for delivery of custom vertical blind products. Please allow 4 – 6 weeks for delivery of products over 108″ which require freight shipping.
  • Orders are shipped either FedEx ground or alternative freight carrier (for most orders over 108″). (Please note: Carriers may not deliver to individual apartments or condos within multi-unit buildings. Please ensure delivery acceptance details with a multi-unit building before ordering. Blind Slats is not responsible for boxes missing or stolen from common areas.
  • If the wrong shipping address is entered on the order, and the order is shipped to that address, we will not be able to process a refund, or be responsible for locating the order, or for extra shipping charges or transfers. Please understand we can not be responsible for these kinds of issues.
  • Shipping information including link to tracking will be emailed when order ships. For all freight deliveries (most orders over 108″), IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THE CARRIER AFTER THE ORDER HAS BEEN SHIPPED TO CONFIRM/ ARRANGE DELIVERY.
  • Freight shipping companies DO NOT store items and may return items if there are failed delivery attempts. Additional shipping charges may apply if delivery is not arranged with shipper by customer in a timely manner.
  • Tracking number and shipping details are always provided by the shipping carrier. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking number to be updated once shipped.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once in production, or, due to shipping delays.
  • Please be advised that you may be contacted concerning delivery if there are any issues, or if the order is being delivered via freight carrier.
  • Please note that any valance clips will be shipped separately from the headrail.
